THE GARBAGE "FACTS”
It is observed that nearly 4,000 M.T.'s of garbage is collected by GHMC every day in the
twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderbad alone. Out of this garbage near about 70% of the
garbage is organic material comprising of kitchen waste, left over food and vegetables.
These organic material if not disposed off properly, stink a lot and emit lot of poisnous
gases which get released in to the atmospehere polluting the environment, leading to
global warming and also adds scope for lot of viral diseases.
The burden of GHMC is multifold. TIME, MANPOWER AND LOT OF MONEY.
PEEPAL BIO-DIGESTERS, attempt to completely eliminate the above process by installing the
bio-digesters at the houses or flats and the kitchen waste is fed directly in to them.
Our bio-digesters work on the principle of Anerobic digestion and do not emit any
odour or bad smell during usage.
The Methane gas that is generated is stored in the gas chamber of the bio-digester and will be connected directly to the bio-gas stove through a pipe exclusively designed for these bio-digesters
for cooking purpose. The remaining portion of the kitchen waste in the bio-dgester comes out as liquid
fetilizer which has high nutrient value and hence there will not by any residual left.
The use of bio-digesters keeps the house-hold clean and neat and also keeps the environment
healthy and safe. The Methane gas replaces LPG upto 60% and the liquid residual
can be used in the kitchen garden as high nutrient organic fertilizer.
